From time to time, someone asks questions like "I need to catalog some thousands files, will MP3 Cat be able to handle so many tracks?" or "What are the limits of an MP3 Cat database?".

Well, I just got a report from an user who's happily managing a single MP3 Cat db with:

• 35.144 artists


• 431.667 tracks

...and I guess that db is still growing.

An update for MP3 Cat has just been released.

The changes in this version are the following:

• Added "File->Append..." to merge two databases together.


• Improved the ID3v2 tag parser.


• Added BPM among the track data. It will also be read from ID3v2 tags.
