Quoting an user:

"I cannot seem to figure out how to, for example, put down a whole note on one string of a quarter note on another *that start at the same time*. This makes it impossible to create a base line for a piece of music that isn't played exactly on beat with the treble part of the music."

Tablatures allows you to write your high and low melodies independently, thus you can achieve what you need in the following way.

Let's start by adding a note to the high melody:



Then, in the Notes Panel, we switch to Low melody, change the duration and enter the second note:



That's it.

A new version of Tablatures has just been released.

This version adds a couple of small features:

• Added an option to configure the page footer (used when printing).


• Added an option to reopen the last used document at start up.

Music Box 1.11 is now available.

The changes since the previous version are:

• Multiple nodes in the groups tree can be selected at once (ie. you can select multiple artists, albums, etc...).


• Added "Reveal in Finder" function to the tracks context menu and properties dialog.


• Fixed a crash that occurred when QuickTime reported a zero duration or sample rate for a song.


• Exporting a long selection of tracks could crash. Fixed.


• Sometimes, when scanning a file containing a ID3v2 tag, the genre information wasn't properly decoded from its numeric value.


• WAV files can be added to the database: they will appear without any meta data, since they don't contain any, but it's useful to catalog your sounds with Music Box.

TabView 1.20 has been released.

This version fixes a problem that sometimes caused the "Play from selection" function to work incorrectly in presence of repeated sections.

A new version of 3Doku for Mac OS X is ready.

As requested by users, when "Show Hints" is enabled, you can manually mark certain values as "impossible" from the Notes Editor panel.
