TabView 1.10 has been released.

The changelog for this version includes:

• A drawer with a list of the sections of the score has been added. It allows to jump easily to the desired part of the tablatures.


• MIDI playback: guitar volumes are more similar to those produced by PowerTabEditor.


• MIDI playback: the rhythm slash doesn't get out of sync when there are multi-bar rests.

MIDI generation also sports some other miscellaneous improvements.

TabView 1.9 is now available.

This version focuses on some improvements to MIDI playback:

• it's now possible to select and loop over a part of the tab. It will help you to practice difficult riffs over and over.


• The handling of alterations of pace (ritardando/accelerando) has been improved.


• Last but not least, a bug has been fixed when dealing with directions pointing to a position with multiple signs.

TabView 1.8 has been released.

This new version features the following changes:

• MIDI playback: added autoscroll options.


• Rhythm slash: fixed the rendering of beams.


• MIDI export: due to a bug of Mac OS X 10.4, MIDI files generated on Intel machines contained invalid data. Since Apple still hasn't provided a fix for the bug, a workaround has been implemented and now TabView generates working files on Intel Macs as well.
