Wiz Solitaire 2.12 has just been released.

A couple of fixes have been ported from the Mac version:

SeaHaven: foundations could be incorrectly built down in color, instead of in suit as per rules. Fixed.

Black Hole: sometimes the ace of spades wasn't dealt correctly. Fixed.

MP3 Cat 2.14

An new release of MP3 Cat is available.

This version contains the following changes:

Added "Database->Add file..." to add a single file to the database.

Files can be added using drag'n'drop on the main list as well.

Wiz Solitaire 2.11 is now available.

In these release, several games were added, bringing it almost on-par with the Mac version. The full list of changes include:

Added several new games: Black Hole, Cruel, Golf, Mount Sunflower, Putt Putt, Wasp.

Added a standard image for table cells.

Klondike: display the top 3 cards of the deck as a fan.

If the Rules window is open while you change the type of solitaire, the rules will be updated automatically.

Wiz Solitaire 2.10 is now available.

It sports a couple of improvements:

Games can now be saved and resumed later on.

Deck Editor: added an option to prevent the editor to add rank symbols to the cards. It comes useful when your images already contain them. It's available in the "Deck" menu.

Why the new version is 2.1 while the previous one was 2.90?

Version numbers used by the products on this site are not decimals^*: they follow the scheme <version>.<revision>

Thus, 2.10 is not the same as 2.1: the latest MP3 Cat is version 2, revision 10. The previous one was actually 2.9.

^* it would be too boring if everyone followed this rule: some people really use them as they were decimals or even marketing tools There's a quite long article on several versioning schemes on Wikipedia for the most curious ones.

3Doku 1.2

3Doku 1.2 is now available for download.

This version fixes a crash that occurred on launch after winning a game, then quitting without starting a new one, if Auto Save was enabled.

A new feature has been added: if you enable the "Edit->AutoSet Values" menu item, 3Doku will automatically fill the visible cells which are left with only a possible choice whenever you edit a value. Depending on your previous moves, this might fill them with wrong values though, thus beware.

Also, you can now rotate the cube using the left mouse button, clicking on an empty area and dragging the mouse. This will be useful to Mac users with only a single mouse button.

Wiz Solitaire 2.9 is now available.

This release adds a function to restart the game you're playing, so that you can try a different approach in case you get stuck.

MP3 Cat 2.10

An updated MP3 Cat is available.

Apart from a small bug fix, it now supports WMA files as well. In order to scan them, you need to have Windows Media Player 9 or later installed.

It contains a couple of bug fixes in La Belle Lucie and Trefoil.

3Doku 1.1

The first update for 3Doku, version 1.1, is now available for download.

We've implemented a couple of new features requested by the first users:

the user can manually enter possible values and notes for the cells. Notes will be shown as tooltips.

3D view: the planes have been changed to match the color of their header in the 2D view.

The game can be automatically saved on exit and reopened on start.

A big database

From time to time, someone asks questions like "I need to catalog some thousands files, will MP3 Cat be able to handle so many tracks?" or "What are the limits of an MP3 Cat database?".

Well, I just got a report from an user who's happily managing a single MP3 Cat db with:

35.144 artists

431.667 tracks

...and I guess that db is still growing.
