Here's a small update for Wiz Solitaire.

When playing St Helena, undo didn't work properly and it could be used to cheat. It's been fixed.

A new maintenance release of Wiz Solitaire is now waiting for you to download it.

There are only a couple of changes:

The "Undo move" menu item/toolbar button will appear disabled when the undo stack is empty.

Klondike: the previous version was a bit too eager to declare a game as over.

An update for Wiz Solitaire is ready for download.

This version adds an option to save the game automatically when you quit the program. It's available under the Game menu: Auto Save on Exit. Auto-saved games will be automatically restored on start, of course.

A new maintenance release of Wiz Solitaire is now available.

As part of the spring cleaning activities, support for Mac OS X 10.3 has been dropped. According to my stats, the large majority of users is running Leopard, and the few who don't are at least on Tiger, so it was about time.

The first Wiz Solitaire update of the year is here.

This release focuses on some small improvements to Spider:

The number of deals left is displayed in the status bar.

When looking for possible moves, groups of cards weren't considered correctly, thus it was possible to get a wrong game over message sometimes. Fixed.

The game is automatically paused when the application is deactivated.

Regretfully, the previous update accidentally broke the Forty Thieves, Streets and Josephine games. This release resurrects them.

Wiz Solitaire 1.34 is ready for download.

The shuffling algorithm for 2-decks games (such as Spider) has been improved: the previous one shuffled decks independently, thus favouring the creation of easier than average games.

Wiz Solitaire 1.33 is now available.

If the last used deck cannot be loaded at startup, Wiz Solitaire will revert to the standard deck, after notifying the user.

This change will fix a freezing problem reported by some users when the game was first run from a mounted .dmg volume and later from the Applications folder.

On a side note, Wiz Solitaire is now listed on iusethis: if you've got an account there, please add it among your apps.
