Wiz Solitaire (for MacOS X) 1.27

Wiz Solitaire 1.27 has just been released.

Here’s the list of changes since the previous version:

  • Added a “Clean Up” function in the “Game” menu (also available as a button you can add to the toolbar). It automatically performs all the available moves towards foundations: use it only when you’ve almost completed the game and you can see that you’re going to win, otherwise it will only spoil the fun.
  • Eagle Wing: fixed according to the rules.

TabView 1.15

TabView 1.15 is now available.

This version includes a couple of rendering fixes, and two new features.

You can now decide whether to view tabs in the normal way (that is, as in the previous releases), to view only the tablature staff or to view only the standard notation.

Also, TabView now includes a Spotlight plugin which allows you to search through your tabs collection more easily.

PayPal blackout from 14/9 to 18/9

[Update: the maintenance date has been postponed]

Please note that share-it, out e-commerce partner, is going to conduct some system maintenance between Friday, September 14, 2007 and September 18, 2007.

During this maintenance window, it won’t be possible to order using PayPal as payment method, while all the other methods of payment will continue to work.

Do I need to pay to upgrade XYZ to the latest release?

Unless specified otherwise, our general policy is that you can freely upgrade to any new minor release of the products you’ve bought.

For instance, if you’ve bought Wiz Solitaire 1.24, you’re free to upgrade to 1.25, 1.26 and so on. When/if version 2.0 will be released, you will probably need to get a new license.

Wiz Solitaire (for Mac OS X) 1.26

Wiz Solitaire 1.26 is now available.

This release focuses on a couple of improvements that have been requested for Klondike:

  • an option to allow partial column moves has been added (e.g. if K-Q-J-10 is one pile and Q is another, you can move J-10 onto the other Q). Enabling this option makes the game easier to complete.
  • when you ask for a hint, useless actions like moving a King from a pile to another won’t be suggested.
