TabView 4.0 has been released on the Mac App Store.
The main change in this release is a brand new sampled-instrument audio engine:

Tablatures 2.43 is available on the Mac App Store.
MIDI playback has been improved to handle malformed repetitions more gracefully.
Tablatures 2.42 is available on the Mac App Store.
MIDI playback can now be controlled using the media keys on your keyboard (play/pause and rewind) or the “Now Playing” system menu.
“Rewind” will either stop playback, if it’s currently paused, or it will skip back to the starting point.
Also, there’s a new option to replace the vertical “TAB” text at the beginning of tabs with the guitar tuning.
Tablatures 2.41 is available on the Mac App Store.
This release fixes a crash occurring when playing back some compositions using alternate endings.
TabView 3.11 has been released on the Mac App Store.
This release fixes a small print-related bug: tablatures were always rendered using the default line spacing, instead of the one set in the document.
