I’m using Mac OS 10.6.8 and adding a bass score to a guitar score. I finally got them to sync up, so the repeated bass line doesn’t finish before the guitar loops, but came across the following demonstration that the issue is a bug as opposed to my very limited knowledge of musical score: Replace an eighth note with an eighth rest, and they get out of sync (the blue cursor seems to be trying to indicate a user mistake when the rest is inserted)… This has been a truly painful experience.
in cases like this, it would be best to send an email attaching an example tab, so that I can give it a look and either suggest how to adjust it or fix the bug

Thanks for the email reply. Too bad my demo version expired before I could investigate your suggestion. I never figured out how to make a note with duration and placement such that it spans a bar line. I.e, the note starts before the bar line and is sustained beyond it. Oh well…
