I am attempting to write a song in Tablatures where I play two notes at the same time, but I want one to play for a quarter note and the other to play for a half note. Every time I attempt to switch the timing on one note, the program will switch the other note as well. Is there a way to delink the timing so that I can show different timings when two or more notes are started at the same time, but end at different times? Thank you for your assistance. Trey

says:you can have two notes with different durations, if they are on two different voices. See http://blog.tellini.org/2008/06/how-do-i-enter-two-notes-with-different-duration-starting-at-the-same-time/ (just remember to keep the low voice in sync with the high one: if the note you’re adding is in the middle of the bar, you’ll need to add the proper rest sings before it in the same voice)
